What you will do

The People & Culture department consists of 9 people that are divided over an HR team, a Recruitment team and Office team, in which we have a joint responsibility of making the employee journey for our 200+ Tiqeteers as exciting and fun as possible.

As the HRBP you will act as the point of contact for managers, employees and other P&C team members regarding HR related matters and projects, in which you will provide assistance, guidance and give advice to managers and employees throughout their employee journey within Tiqets.

Aside from the continuous (international) growth - that brings a lot of opportunities and challenges - we are constantly working on projects to improve the employee journey and with that the engagement of our Tiqeteers.

You are an HR professional with 3+ years of relevant experience in the field of HR and some experience in international HR (continental Europe preferably). You have up-to-date employment law knowledge, and you like working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, keeping your cool in all these dynamics.


As an HR Business Partner, your responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

  • Provide advice and guidance to the management of Tiqets (own list of departments, mostly abroad) on tactical, operational and strategic level like organizational development, personnel planning, development, disciplinary procedures, absence and personnel planning.
  • Optimize and execute the set employee policies and service delivery.
  • Provide a smooth employee process from onboarding till off-boarding.
  • Act as the go-to person to answer queries about HR-related issues and provide needed information and documentation. Mainly focussed on management.
  • Case management following the specific laws per country.
  • Have bi-weekly meetings - or be in close contact with managers and team leads to define topics that should be improved.
  • Prepare for the monthly payroll together with the HR Coordinator and/or external suppliers.
  • Actively propagate the company’s vision and culture.
  • Collaborate in HR projects, with a strong focus on Talent Management, Training & Development, eNPS and personal development.


  • 3+ years of experience within a HR Business Partner role
  • Good knowledge about Dutch and foreign labor laws pension and other benefits and regulations
  • Experience with running payroll abroad is a pro
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practises
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintaining a positive, open, and objective attitude toward others
  • Ability to prioritize and detail-oriented
  • Integrity and honesty are two of your core values
  • Work independently and under pressure
  • Results-driven
  • Proficient in Dutch and English language, other languages is a pro (French/Spanish/Italian)
  • Living in the Netherlands
