What you will do

As Product Manager for Mobile Apps and Retention, you will lead one of Tiqets’ B2C product teams focused on growing the value of our mobile apps and helping customers return to Tiqets more often.

Our apps play a central role in our retention strategy. Many customers first buy their tickets on the web and then continue their journey in the app. Others use the app directly to manage their tickets, receive relevant updates and offers, discover things to do during their trip and return to Tiqets for future experiences.

Your scope will include our iOS and Android apps, CRM touchpoints such as email and push notifications, and service-related tooling that helps us create a better customer experience before and after purchase. Together, these areas form an important part of our retention strategy.

You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers, a product designer and a data analyst. You will work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, CRM, Customer Service, and other Product teams to identify the biggest opportunities, explore solutions, launch new functionality and improvements, and measure their impact.

You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle: understanding customer problems, defining the apps and CRM product strategy and roadmap for your team, setting goals, validating ideas, delivering solutions and evaluating results. You will report to the Head of Product.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of our customers: what they need, where they experience friction and what would make them return to Tiqets

  • Identify opportunities to improve app adoption, app engagement, repeat bookings, ticket usage, in trip-related discovery and customer communication

  • Define a clear product strategy for your team scope aligned with the overall Tiqets product vision and strategy

  • Own and prioritize the team roadmap balancing customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, a product designer, and a data analyst by setting clear objectives, creating focus and helping the team make progress

  • Take a hypothesis-driven approach and validate assumptions efficiently and effectively

  • Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to delivery, launch and impact evaluation

  • Work closely with the CRM team on customer journey communication through email, push notifications and other relevant channels, such as SMS

  • Partner with the Customer Service team and operational stakeholders to improve service-related tooling reducing customer friction and increasing customer satisfaction

  • Act as the go-to person for your team’s product domain and clearly communicate progress, decisions and outcomes to stakeholders

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of experience in product management, working on digital consumer products. Experience with e-commerce and/or mobile apps is a strong plus

  • You know how to turn customer problems and business opportunities into clear product priorities

  • You have a data-informed and hypothesis-driven way of working and are comfortable using metrics, customer insights and experiments to make decisions

  • You understand the basics of product discovery, delivery, roadmap management and stakeholder communication

  • You can work closely with designers and engineers to shape solutions that are valuable, usable, feasible and commercially viable

  • You have a good understanding of UX principles and care about creating simple, intuitive customer experiences

  • You have a basic understanding of mobile app development concepts and are comfortable discussing technical trade-offs with engineers

  • You communicate clearly and proactively on progress and coordinate the release of changes and features

  • You are curious, eager to learn and open to sharing learnings with others

  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken

📍This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days per week at our HQ in Amsterdam
